Welcome to the home and gardens of Robert and Sheryl Yantis.  Our home is located on the Llano River arm of Lake LBJ in Kingsland Texas.  We are both Certified Texas Master Gardeners and Officers of the Kingsland Garden Club.  We enjoy gardening, bird and butterfly watching, recreational kayaking, and photography, especially plants and wildlife.  We have taken on a volunteer project of designing and maintaining the grounds of the Kingsland Library.  We will share some of our activities with you and try to offer some monthly tips on gardening in our unique Hill Country environment.  Check out the Events Calendar to find interesting garden related programs presented free by community organizations like the Kingsland Garden Club and the Highland Lakes Master Gardeners.  From Sheryl's Garden Page you can access many additional informative and fun pages about Central Texas Gardening like deer resistant plants, Central Texas butterflies, roses, bulbs, hill country plants, compost tea and much more.
Be sure to come to the Master Gardener Green Thumb Programs presented free at the libraries. Go to the Green Thumb Page for full details.  You can also click on these links to learn about the Master Gardener's Burnet Farmers Market, Earth-Kind Landscaping, Native Plant Society and the Birding and Wildflower Society.
